Kenya Youth Business Challenge

Innovation and Creativity in Youth Business

To encourage and further develop the entrepreneurial spirit of young adults, CCSI is assisting Compassion Kenya in their second-annual Youth Business Challenge. The contest supports faith-driven entrepreneurial thinking, expands the capacities of youth-owned businesses, and reignites hope in the younger generations. Through their businesses, young entrepreneurs enable social change within their own communities, create job opportunities, and cultivate economic prosperity. Any Compassion-registered youth between the ages of 18-22 who possess a National ID and currently runs a business can apply for the opportunity to receive cash prizes, training, and mentorship.

Youth can submit a written application through Younoodle. The application details the operations, marketing strategy, finances, and faith components of the business. Applicants can complete a little at a time and save their progress. All applications must be submitted before the deadline on August 17. The Top 50 Finalists will be selected to receive coaching and training to further develop their businesses and prepare a business pitch.

*The application for the 2022 Kenya Youth Business Challenge is closed. Please check back in October for contest results and finalist announcements.
